Refund Policy

Refunds and Cancellation Policy – Officium Legacy

You have the right to cancel your agreement with Officium Legacy within 14 days from the date you provide your instructions or the date payment is made (whichever occurs later).

If you cancel within this 14-day period, no payment will be required. Where payment has already been made, a full refund will be issued unless one of the circumstances below applies

Exceptions to the Refund Period

A refund will not be available where:

  • You have expressly requested early commencement or completion of your documents and waived your statutory right to cancel
  • You choose not to proceed with your will consultation and do not contact us within the 14-day cancellation period
  • You decide not to proceed following your will consultation and fail to notify us within 14 days
  • We may charge a reasonable proportion of the fee for work completed up to the date of cancellation
  • Any charge will not exceed the total agreed contract price

In these situations, any fees paid will be retained, your instruction will be closed, and no documents will be produced.

Start of the Cancellation Period

The 14-day cancellation period begins on the later of:

  • The date you formally instruct us to proceed, or
  • The date you sign a credit agreement, if applicable

Document Production and Charges

As Officium Legacy provides bespoke estate planning documents, charges apply once work has been completed in line with your instructions. To ensure you have the full statutory cancellation period, documents are not produced or issued until after the 14-day cancellation window has expired.

Once documents have been drafted, reviewed, prepared, and issued in accordance with your confirmed instructions, the agreed fees become payable and are non-refundable

Completion of Services

Where all services have been delivered in line with your instructions and documentation has been provided, no refunds will be issued, and the full agreed fee will remain due.
